4. Adding a Touch of Luxury to Your Bathroom Can Help Save the Planet
from:Even with the recent economic downturn, there are a wide range of TV shows on celebrity lifestyles and home improvements. People have quite a taste for luxury and this isn’t dulled by people’s budgets being a little tighter than normal. When they can’t afford much else they can always afford a touch of luxury, and that is never truer than in the bathroom. ‘Trading up’ is a popular American market trend that has had a major impact upon home décor.
And where else is there a better spot for some luxury in your house than in you bathroom – the very place to relax and forget the stresses and strains of the everyday world? If we can’t pamper ourselves in the bathroom with soft towels and luxurious linens – where can we? You don’t need to be rich and famous to get your hands on these tings and add a true touch of glamour to your bathroom.
Luxurious bathrooms these days can be huge master bathroom suites with vanities using high-end material such as marble and granite and baths can be Jaccuzis where you can truly lie back and relax. European influence has also brought in towel warmers and bidets. Not just high fashion, these bathroom items are also fully functional. Once you have tried these luxury items you won’t know how you ever lived without them!
Not only do towel rails allow you to truly pamper yourself in stepping fresh from the bath or shower and enveloping yourself in a warm, fluffy towel; towel rails are also an energy efficient way to at least partially heat your bathroom. Europe knew about heated towel rails a good few years ago and they feature widely in their energy conscious designs. However, the USA is only just getting a hold of the idea that with a heated towel rail, you don’t have to over-heat the rest of your home, just to have a bathroom at a comfortable temperature.
You can also find heated towel rails that have an infrared controller that you can program. This means you can make further energy savings while adding a touch of glamour to your bathroom. Program it to turn on before you are due to wake and you will walk into a wonderfully warm bathroom. They are practical too, because if you live in a humid area, you will find that heated towel rails help to eradicate mold and mildew and stop them recurring because they will dry out your towels quickly.
Heated towel rails are easy to install and they don’t need anything fancier than a standard electric point from which to run. They are self-contained units and little can go wrong with their installation so literally anywhere you could have a standard towel rail you can have a heated towel rail. You will find them in all shapes, sizes and colors so they will fit any bathroom décor.
